I’ve always felt very capable of separating the logical from the sentimental (like hardware vs. software) (bad joke, I know). But there’s this thing with creativity that just doesn’t let me. It’s like my brain goes round and round and round at a hundred miles per hour — like a non-stop industrial revolution happening in my head (did I mention I loooove art history?) (also, I have ADHD 🙃).
Well, sometimes it’s annoying — especially when all my personal projects are silently judging me from afar (let’s not talk about that scrapbook that’s starting to look a little too much like Diogenes Syndrome, but make it ✨aesthetic✨). Still, at the end of the day, this silly brain of mine is fully responsible for creating all these beautiful illustrations and design projects. My life is the perfect balance between chaos and order (just like coding is, for me ;p).
You know how people look desperate for the weekend just to escape their jobs? Well, fun fact: if you take out sleeping hours, work eats up around 36% of your life. Yup, that’s a lot (and honestly, a massive red flag if you’re trying to pretend it doesn’t exist).
So I decided I’m not gonna waste my time waiting for those “freedom days.” I want a job where I can pour my heart and soul into projects and make them feel like my own. (Believe me, it’s not that hard—I already survived the ancient rituals of my student years).
As the daughter of two computer scientists with a creative streak myself, I gravitate toward the wild mix of fashion and tech—double win when they collide. Add in my desperate need to explore and decode everything around me, and suddenly whatever I touch becomes this surreal, slightly weird, yet perfectly organized thing your eyes have probably never seen before.
Long story short: what I want from you is a place that feels like home, where I can unleash all this chaotic energy and channel it into making life more aesthetically functional.
Like every other portfolio you’ve probably seen, yeah—I know my way around the Adobe Suite. Having a Graphic Design degree means I’ve touched a bit of everything a designer should know.
But in a world where anyone with Photoshop for five minutes is a “designer”, that just doesn’t cut it. So I made a (wise but chaotic) move: a Master’s in what actually fuels me—web design, UX/UI, and code. Now I live to rescue crusty websites and give them the glow-up they deserve.
